Dr. Maghraoui is a visiting scholar from Morocco. He is the president of the Scholarly Council of the Benslimane region and a member of the Supreme Council of Scholars in Morocco. Dr. Maghraoui spoke about Al-Istiqamah, a quality and state of the person which encompasses several qualities such as steadfastness and uprightness. Sufyaan ibn ‘Abdillaah radhiallahu ‘anhu said, “O Messenger of Allah, tell me something about Islam, which I cannot ask anyone else besides you.” [and in another narration “anyone after you”] He said, “Say: ‘I believe in Allah’ and then be steadfast (upon that).” Listen to the entire lecture below.

Sheikh Abdel Monem spoke about the etiquette related to clothes and dressing from a Muslim perspective for both men and women. He addressed the reasons why there is a clothes etiquette in the first place, and what the types of clothes that should be avoided. He clarified the situations when we are allowed to wear avoided clothes out of necessity.
