About Abdur-Rahman Syed:

Abdur-Rahman Syed serves as an advisor to Muslim organizations and as
a regular speaker on Islam and Muslims.  His academic interests span
religion, literature and philosophy, with an undergraduate degree from
Harvard University and further graduate study at the University of
Chicago and Boston University.  Originally from Karachi, Pakistan, he
currently lives in Roxbury with his wife and baby daughter.
