Ramadan 2009 (NIGHT 15): The Soul, Nafs and Shaytan in Ramadan By Smail Fenni

    September 5, 2009
    10:00 pmto10:10 pm

    Assalamu Alaikum Brothers and Sisters,

These mini talks are given in between the Taraweeh prayers every night at the mosque.

This is the second part of the Kathira of the same title given by Brother Smail. The first segment gave a synopsis of Shaytan’s role in Ramadan and touched upon the importance of An Nafs in keeping our belief in Allah in tact.  This segment looks at the point of view of some scholars as to why Shaytan is still influencing us to disobey Allah eventhough he is supposed to be chained during Ramadan. It certainly was an eye opener for all of us.

This was definitely a Brother Smail special, so take 10 minutes of your time to listen to the valuable knowledge passed onto us by him. Better yet, come to Yusuf Mosque for Iftar for the rest of Ramadan and listen to Brother Smail and other reputed speakers upclose and personal sharing their knowledge  with you at no cost to you.

We look forward to seeing you at Yusuf Mosque.
