Security is deteriorating within Libya which has prompted an escalation
of refugee numbers crossing on a daily basis from Libya to Tunisia.
The current daily and expected incoming influx of refugees is creating
strenuous conditions not only for local Tunisian host families, for those
involved in humanitarian relief works on the ground ‚but also for the Libyan
refugees themselves, especially those with extended  large families, consisting
mainly of female members , children under the age of 12 and elderly .
In order to alleviate the current plight of Libyan refugees currently residing in Tunisia ,
The Libyan Dignity Committee (LDC) would like to ask for your generous sincere help

to provide shelter, safety and well-being to the Libyan refugees:

  • Venue: Garden Park Hotel, Midoun , Tunisia.
  • Rating: 3 star
  • Bed capacity:  1000 beds
  • Hotel capacity: 1000, maximum intake of 1750 people with children below the age of 12.
  • Number of families:  240– 250 families in total, median of 7 members per family.
  • All inclusive cost per person: USD 120 per month, which includes water, electricity and three daily meals
  • Total cost of hotel per month: USD 120,000

We strongly believe that accommodating Libyan refugees in such venues will not only alleviate their dire physical and psychological condition , but also contribute unequivocally to their safety of residence and habitat within the Republic of Tunisia.
