Assalamu Alaikum Brothers and Sisters,
This is the final segment on the Prophet Muhammed’s beloved companions and their tremendous acts for the sake of Allah. In this segment we look at Sayyidina Talha and his greatest contributions to the safety of the Prophet in the Battle of Badr and his role as a matyr for the sake of Allah. Dr Basem also narrates to us about Sayyidina Abu Ubaida and examples of his heroic contributions to defend the Prophet from mortal danger in the battle of Badr. We also look at another woman companion Um Umar who defended the Prophet by putting her life and her childrens’ lives at risk just so she can see the Prophet in the Hereafter.
Dr Basem closes this emotional lecture with the closest and wisest companion of the Prophet, the dearly beloved Sayyidena Abu Bakr and his connection with the Prophet Muhammed. He also narrates the last moments on this Earth of our beloved Prophet Muhammed. There was not a dry tear in the Mosque.
